A day at Magic Kingdom is packed with magical moments and unforgettable experiences. I'm not going to lie, narrowing it down to ten hasn't been easy (and there are a few more that I would have loved to add in there ... maybe I should have gone for a top 20?!)
Here are a few of the highlights to make the most of your day at the park:
Cinderella Castle
One of the first things you will see as you arrive at the park and it's mind-blowing! Experience the fairytale magic by visiting the iconic Cinderella Castle. Make sure to take photos and enjoy the stunning architecture.
For a fairytale dining experience, try 'Cinderella's Royal Table' located inside the castle.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Set sail on a swashbuckling adventure with Captain Jack Sparrow. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Magic Kingdom is one of the most beloved and iconic attractions in the Disney parks. Located in Adventureland, the ride takes guests on a boat journey through a pirate-infested Caribbean island. It’s known for its immersive atmosphere, catchy tunes, and elaborate storytelling. Definitely one of my favourites.

Haunted Mansion
Arguably my favourite ride - if you forced me to pick one! The Haunted Mansion ride at Magic Kingdom is another classic Disney attraction that has captivated guests for many years. Located in Liberty Square, this spooky, yet fun, ride takes guests through a haunted estate filled with 999 happy haunts. A fantastic blend or eerie atmospheres along with humour, making it a beloved experience for both kids and adults.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure
Tiana's Bayou Adventure replaced the Splash Mountain ride in 2024. The new ride is inspired by Disney's 2009 film The Princess and the Frog. It takes guests on a journey through the bayous of Louisiana, alongside Princess Tiana and her friends, as they embark on an adventure to find a special ingredient for a celebration feast.
The attraction will feature elements from the movie, including music, characters like Tiana, Louis the alligator, and Ray the firefly, as well as new scenes and storytelling elements that immerse guests in the culture and environment of the bayou. It's designed to showcase Tiana's entrepreneurial spirit, her love of cooking, and her connection to the community.
It’s a Small World
Enjoy one of the original rides, It's a Small World. Take a leisurely boat ride through enchanting scenes representing cultures from around the globe, accompanied by the famous theme song - be warned, it's an earworm that will be in your head for the rest of the day!
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride at Magic Kingdom is a family-friendly roller coaster located in Fantasyland. It’s a fun and exciting attraction based on Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs movie, offering a mix of gentle thrills and immersive storytelling.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is a popular interactive ride located in Tomorrowland. It's based on Toy Story and lets guests join Buzz Lightyear on an adventure to defeat Emperor Zurg. The ride is known for its fun, competitive element, where riders can shoot targets and rack up points while enjoying the colourful, futuristic environment. Naturally, I'm completely useless at this, but great fun anyway.
Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise ride at Magic Kingdom is a classic Disney attraction that takes guests on a guided boat tour through various jungle-themed landscapes. It opened in 1971 when the park first opened and has since become one of Disney's most iconic rides.
Guests board a boat and embark on an adventurous cruise through "exotic" locations, including the African Congo, the Amazon River, and Southeast Asia. The highlight of the ride is the comedic narration provided by the boat captain, who is known for telling corny, pun-filled jokes while navigating the waters. The skippers have the flexibility to improvise their jokes and interact with guests, making each ride unique.
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade
No trip to Magic Kingdom is complete without a parade! Don’t miss this vibrant parade featuring floats and characters from various Disney stories. It’s a colourful celebration of Disney magic.

Happily Ever After Fireworks Show
The Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom is a breath-taking night-time spectacular that combines fireworks, projections, and music to tell the story of Disney's most beloved characters and films. It made its debut in 2017, and became a fan favourite for its powerful storytelling and grand scale.
The show features projections on Cinderella Castle, transforming it into scenes from Disney movies like The Lion King, Aladdin, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, and more. Along with the fireworks, experience music from Disney movies. It's a celebration of hope, dreams, and the power of believing in a happily ever after. The grand finale of your day!
